New to anemone

Got him last night. Was floating around and gently placed him here now looks like this. Powerheads are off just sump is on

I just got my anemone last week as well. From what I read, if it doesn't staying on rock, it could mean the anemone is weak Did he moved after you placed it? Mine is hiding since the lighting from its previous home is different.

Make sure ur water parameters are staple and u have the proper lighting. Leave it alone. The anemone does look bleached a bit.

Water parameters have not changed for over 3 months. The only time I touch em is to flip him. He was attached for 2 hours when I got him. But nothing since then

The flip-over is a bad sign tho.

It might have died ...although it might still be moving..
They feel like spreading stinging cells and toxins around when they die.
