New to Forums+ Hobby!

Hey all!

I'm relatively new to this hobby. I have a 40 gallon tank, and maintained a fresh-water tank for about 3 months before I decided to convert to salt-water.
I am excited to use these forums in order to receive help with my tank!

This is my first time using a forum, so consider this a test- post. My first question ever on these forums: How do I properly update an image?
I think I have an idea, however I want to make sure it posts correctly.

So, if you can see the image, you can see how my tank is directly under my TV, and I'm trying to find the best pair of lights I can that support Reefs, and in the meantime not obscure my vision. What's the most efficient bang for your buck for a pair of lights?

I would move the tank or the TV.
Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it's what I would do, sorry.

I know salt doesn't evaporate from the tank, but somehow everything that is metal seems to get rusty when anywhere close to my saltwater tanks, especially electronics. I'd move the TV or the tank.

Hirbod, welcome to RC!

At the very least, put a large shelf between the tv and tank to prevent salt from getting to the tv. MarsAqua lights are pretty cheap and are supposed to work well.

Another vote to move one or the other. When you get lights on it, it's going to be very distracting when your trying to watch tv. It appears to be full of water, so moving the tv might be easier.
