New to lps: anything special to keep these two?

I am in the process of cycling my aquarium and took a trip to the lfs with the wife to get an idea of what to stock it with. She fell in love with a hammer coral and an elegance coral. What do I need to have/do to keep these corals? Since my tank is new and cycling now it'll be easier to get everything set up the right way.

Elegance are a bit harder, I can't speak for them but hammers are pretty easy, low to medium flow so he looks like he is waving at you, I keep mine near the bottom. Other than that keep alk calcium and mag all consistent, usually with water changes when you don't have much in the tank

Might try showing her a torch instead of the elegance, they are easier, about the same as a hammer.

+1 for torch, they come in nice color options and have some really great movement to them. My torch is my wifes favorite piece.

Keep alkalinity stable as possible, they hate fluctuation In alkalinity. Go with torch, hammer, or frogspawn. Elegance coral a bit harder for beginners.

Helpful tips.. Hammers and frogs are really easy. start with them. Also if you get hammers only go with branching until you get the hang of it. Wall hammers tend to die easier and once they start theres no turning them. You can let hammers and frogs touch as well but if you get a torch it needs space, anything it touches it will kill. Dont do an elegance till you really know what your doing. I know alot of experienced reefers that still wont touch them. And ya keep a close eye on your alk.
