New to softies having much success, requesting advice

I have a 55g tank. 20lbs love rock. In the process of adding more...I have a green mushroom and a finger leather..they look great very large and flourishing..I have 2 t5 actinic bulbs. I was wondering if there should be more lighting. And really open to any suggestions.

over my softy tank I am running a reefbreeders photon unit... I have my white at 90% and blues at 100%..... imo and ime softies love light just as much as sps... so.... if I was in your shoes I would add 2 more bulbs

Ok im actually just buying a new tank. A red sea Max.250. It's been a mess trying to convert this freshwater into salt

I'd add 2 more T5's.
Maybe a ATI Blue Plus

How high above your tank is your light set?

I have a 120W Taotronic's and I keep Mushroom's under it fine near the bottom (24+ inches), although they don't seem to grow much, they have spawned multiple new ones though ;\

Have you used it with no optics? What size is your tank? I will be getting the photon 48 as well.

My new tank has 234w t5 linear, 117w 10,000k / 117w actinic. Electronic ballast. 8 blue moonlights.

It's 65 gallons
