New to SPS

Hello,
I am thinking about ordering new bulbs for my 40 breeder. I want to keep some easy sps(birdsnest) soon. I have a current light fixture that consist of 2 150watt bulbs. Do you think sps will do okay in the 40 breeder with 20k bulbs if placed midway in the tank? Do also think clams would do okay towards the middle and top of the tank?

I think that will be fine. I was growing several sps frags under a one fifty DE for a while the one MH was about a foot off the tank and corals were about 4 in from water line. I think that the clams will do ok also as long as you place them up top some where. Good Luck!
