lars on live

New member
I recently got a pair of Black Ocellaris Clownfish and they finally made their way into my tank. I got one larger than the other to try to eventually end up with a pair, but don't really intend on trying to raise any. They have been in a group of 12 at my favorite LFS for a couple months so hopefully neither has reached maturity yet. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

Hey man! New here too and I've also found a source for some VERY young true percula's and am going to get a pair of them and then a Tang and a dwarf lion fish...going to add alot of crabs, snails, and shrimp too

Sure. It's a 120 gallon I rescued from a coworker who didn't want the responsibility anymore. I have roughly 150 pounds of live rock, about 80 of which was in the original tank. I added about 50 pounds of vida rock and 20 pounds of rubble just to add diversity and replace the bio-balls. It was set up at my coworkers home for a couple years and I moved it to my place at the end of summer. I finally have it clean and pretty stable.
2 175 watt mh pendants with 2 PC in each on individual timers. I'm just starting to slowly add some coral frags to the tank (mainly mushrooms and soft corals at this point) but they seem to be doing pretty well so far. As far as my livestock list goes I have a wrasse that I can't identify. He came with the tank. There is a small school of blue/green chromis, a small Coral Beauty and a Black Combtooth Blenny.
