New to the Forums, Here's my Build(s)

Nice video -
Once comment though - Do you have a siphon hole break hole in that center Y return (at bottom center of 75g display)? If not, it will siphon all the water from your display and flood your sump if ever the power goes out. Look into it pretty quick. You may have it covered, idk
Will be nice to watch these grow up! You have a great bunch of reefers up there to learn and stock up from.
I miss 'em -

Thx for reminding me ha, we ment to put a siphone hole on there after we had everything going in, and we literally forgot... ill be doing that tonight :P

ya i cant wait for the tank to grow and look like some of theirs :) i already envy puffers
:D

i hope to learn alot as this all goes on too :D

Nice tank, Im in the far south suburb of champaign, I'm in Chicago at least 3 times a month buying some sort of frag, anemone, equipment, tanks. I enjoy seeing peoples tanks while im up there picking things up. Ya and don't forget the frag swap march 12th, Ill be there.

Current tanks: 120 reef, 300 gallon reef,45 hex reef, 150 gallon, 20 gallon quarantine,40 gallon sumps, mrc2 skimmer, Digital Aquatics controls, Panworld 50px and 100px return pump system, Reef octopus duel chamber calcium reactor,4 BRS phosphate reactor.3-250 MH lighting with 4 blue actinics and full DA moonlight system. etc.

i use to have the LeD's sitting about 5-6 inches to the tnak... and i was burning/bleaching corals because with the LeD's are so much more intense.. ..with the optics on... so to get past the unhappy corals i had to raise them higher and higher until i found a spot where stuff would open up and look happy
haha mines not even that high :P Living Sea's has a LeD display setup where their LeD's are screwed to their ceiling.. :P

sooo i wont have to worry about the angel fish picking at my corals, it literally just died... i dont quite understand, because 20 minutes ago it was swimming 200% fine, no signs of ich, no signs of any illness that i know of, it was perfect, and i left the house, came back 15-20 minutes later, and stiff as a rock, nose dived into the sand, i picked it up, nothing... no movement no breathing, no nothinggggggg....

any thoughts?

Hey there.... Saw you are in Byron, I'm in Oregon. Did you make it to the cmas swap this week-end?

Ill have to do a new update video/pic of my 24g led setup :P i made it all SPS with 1 RBTA in the past month and took all my LPS/Softies out and put into my 75g

next time you buy any fish do a qt, i do not know where you bought the potters but most angels come in with parasites. Be proactive and do some treatment while in qt and you will be rewarded as long as you start with a decent specimen. potters tend to be difficult anyway so do not feel bad and hopefully you will have better luck with the next one.

I absolutely love your potter's. I have had two in the past and lost each one to two different tank moves. My all time favorite fish. Out of the two I've had none have been bad nippers. Maybe a bite here and there but thats it. Man seeing one makes me want to go buy one!

if you do get it direct from Hawaii, you will have a better experience that way and can be assured of how the fish was caught. Bought 2 flames direct from the diver and i cant believe to this day the quality of fish i received! my male flashes almost every night and its an awesome display.

ya for the little time i had it it was a gorgeous fish :) i enjoyed watching it.
im investing in a QT tank while i type :P
