The first thing I did when I got to the island was buy snorkel gear darn prescription mask was expensive, lol

the only place ive been out to is torii beach, can you recommend somewhere decently close to kadena that I can head to one day to get good rock?

I actually went to the seawall right next to kadena marina today at low tide and got some really nice pieces of rock. I've got them in the 29g about half full of water from ppm, a couple powerheads and a kotobuki canister full of carbon. i'm amazed at the life on this stuff! this rock is full of life. I will probably go out there a few times this week in the evenings for low tide and pickup a few nice pieces. The coral out there is amazing!

about three weeks ago i went to torii beach, the water was pretty cold, i only stayed in for about 20 minutes. didnt get too far out... it was really just something to do...
