new to the phrases...

i am new here and have no idea what they little phrases mean... what is bump, and PM referring to? im only assuming it has something to do buying things.

bump is just adding a reply to put it back at the top of the board. PM is private message.

The bump is when a thread has been moving down in the list due to no answers, and the bump will bring it back to the first page.
Most people only read the first 2-3 pages of the threads, and any thread can get bump.
The PM, is just the private message. You can send private message to any member, and will only be read be the recepient.
To get to this section you need to click in the pm icon on the top of the intented recepient of the message.
