new to zoanthids

so today im getting my first zoanthids.i have a question about dipping.
i have interceptor and lugols iodine.can i use either of these for zoanthids?

dont use the interceptor, lugols should be fine, or you can dip in freshwater to shake any hitch hikers off.

I use Revive or CoralRx. Lugols is also an option. I've also used TMPCC (coral cure)

radioactive dragon eyes
fire and ice
and blow pop.

Sounds like you have a nice collection started! Were you able to purchase online or do you have a local connection in WA? Looking forward to seeing your posted pics. I've used Revive without any issue with zoanthids.

i have a friend here in spokane that has quiet the zoa collection.
he is always selling zoa frags.ill see about getting a list of what he has to offer. thanks again ill post the pics in a few hours.:spin3:

Good start,

Some advise-

*don't get to caught up in designer names or hype.
*If you like the look of the polyp, get it if you want it.
*If the price is too high shop around, there's always a fellow reefer selling it for much lesser price.
*Pictures posted sometimes aren't the true representative look of the coral in real life, especially when being blasted with all BLUE LIGHTS or super high output 600watt lighting etc.
