very jealous. I'm holding out for the controllable ones in December. Or at least I'm trying hard. How are you liking the flow?

It looks to be a great product. I'm considerring 2 of the controllable ones for my 65!

Have you had a chance to play with it? What do you think :)?!?

68 bucks, can't beat that and it comes with a magnet holder to boot! I probably won't use it for a few weeks. Im building the cube tank right now. stand and plumbing stuff that is
Erik

I put it on my frag tank to try it out. I'm very impressed with the flow and the unit as a whole!

i just put mine on salty critter has more i pointed it straight at my seio 620 and it all but eliminated the other pump this this is super cool magnets are real powerfull 61.50 can not beat it

Its just like a powerhead, no difference. This is not like a ice cap pump its just a smaller neater version of the bigger stream pumps.
7 watts to run it, thats what Im talking about !!!
Erik

my two come on monday for my 40B- can't wait to see if they live up to the hype. could you take a pic with something for size refrence?

Nice Erik! Those probably won't take long to pay for themselves in electric savings.

No I didn't get any... YET. The pic is from Phishy Business forums on reefcentral. Those look like a nice solution for those of use who don't need the 2,000 gph flow of a full-sized stream. I might be acquiring a 37g cube so maybe soon enough I will need one or two of them ;)
I like it when people cut the overflows and insert the streams from the back. (kind of like a mini closed loop.) Those little ones are a nice size. It's nice of them to include the magnets. They usually cost as much as these pumps cost.

watch out the magnets are DANGEROUS and i have the black and blue pinch marks to prove it. and don't underestimate their power- my 40b was a sandstorm until i got them posited just right. the only other bad thing i can say is they are slightly more noisy than i had expected, not terrible by any-mean but still a good background hum. maybe there is a break-in period. other than those minor issues they defiantly live up to the hype!
