I bought this new 9012 skimmer two days ago but it is not skimming. With full air through foam cannot reach the top so nothing is being skimmed. I discovered tonight that there is water inside the silencer and silicone tubing has water in it too. I took the skimmer apart and found water in every section of silicone tubing no wonder it couldnt skimmed. I pull out all tubing and dried them. Later as soon as I put the skimmer back into tank water entered all tubings and silencer immediately. Could you please tell me what caused that? And what can I do to fix it? Another thing I noticed is the hard plastic tube in silencer is missing. Is it supposed to be missing?
