New underwater Camera

Does this camera have an Underwater Housing like other cameras or you put the camera direct into the water without a housing case?

Sorry but I am finding strange to beleive this.. If works underwater without case it is really a new great technology !!! WOW

WOW!! Great pics! I recently bought the Olympus 790 which is waterproof up to 10 feet - but I'm still afraid to stick it in the tank!

I'm glad to see you did - maybe it'll give me the guts to just DO IT!

hey guys i have a question for those that own this bad boy, especially o.c.d. ---

i'm seriously considering buying this mutha. but i wanna know can you adjust the shutter speed? many choices?

and parallel to that does that do you any good in underwater shots? i'd assume it helps w/ the fish moving around and all

Reading the manual and you can change the ISO from auto which is what I have it on to 80/100/200/400/800/1600.Higher the value faster the shutter speed. Is ISO what you mean? I really don't know to much about camera's. The image size is set at 10M - Fine compression and some settings you change limit the size like Fine Zoom is limited to 5M. For movement shots I set the camera to "Sport" but I haven't taken many shots of movement yet "still have to make a livin". The only fish shots were posted, I wanted close-ups so fish that stay still were the subjects. But I plan to try more just busy person.
The camera does not have a extra outer housing, just what you see in the site provided buy cbui2.
Smellikefish the photo is of a type of Protopalythoa or Palythoa at least that is what I i.d. it as and it also wins for first purchase animal in the tank 7 years ago.
And Kimsie just remember to wash it after you use it your manual will walk you through proper procedure and what to worry about.

How about a picture of the entire saltwater tank...???? Awsome pictures...the color of all the corals are amazing...I would like to see a picture of the tank in the day time light...and under the night time light...Ruthie

Hi Ruthi, on page 2 of this thread you'll find full tank shot,Right side, and Back of tank.
As for the other photos I'll have to wait for new Blue L.E.D. (on order) one has been replace and is much brighter than the others. Hope you like.
Here are some more ''

o.c.d.! man, thank you very much for your input on the camera and everything - and yes i meant ISO.

I am looking to buy one as well but not sure if we have it in my country yet. mite have to get it shipped out.

I love the picture of the hermit. thats an awesome shot to say the least. dont get me wrong about my second to last comment - i do dig ur pics, just wanted give you my opinion rather than just wow'in about it all the way through out the thread.

p.s.> When you say the blue L.E.D. that is soon to arrive, are you talking about the LED of the camera that u used for super macro shots? is there a problem w. the original? (mainly asking to make sure i order all the necessary parts since i'm going to get em shipped internationally, figured its better to empty out my pockets once rather than over and over for the int'l S&H b.s.

No zoom is being used, but when I crop the photo I zoom in on some. Most of the photos are 2 to 4 inches away.
As for LED I mean my moon lights on my tank out of three 2 old 1 new the new is way brighter so any pics I fear would look funny.
I happy you are enjoying the photos
