New upcoming Apex accessories/modules?

I was at my local fish store today in regards to buying a Red Sea 350 off them, somehow we ended up talking about the Apex, and he told me that the company is releasing an add on to the apex where it would read trace elements like alkalinity/ magnesium/ calcium and it would automatically dose according to the readings and depending on the levels which you'd want them at, has anyone heard anything in regards to this? I heard it was to be released within the next few months, this would probably be the reason for me to buy an apex.

I've not seen any concrete release timing for Trident. I would think 2018, but given past announcements it might be 2019 LOL.
