hey guys i found this store in my searching of the internet. check out mjmaquaculture.com. i was searching for a place that doesn't charge the crazy prices like all the other online vendors.

went out there yesterday he has to have at least a 100-150 really nice clams. i picked up four yesterday.

he is located locally on li to.

i'll post pics later of the clams i got later, but he has alot of really sweet clams and leathers and shrooms. more then he has listed on his web site.

I spoke to him over the phone, sounds like a really nice guy. He is located in Southold and said he can do pick-ups some nights and weekends, just call the number on the website. He also said that he will be getting a shipment of more corals soon.

I like the "philosophy" presented on the site though I wasn't terribly impressed with the stock. Hopefully this shipment he's expecting will have some nice corals and more exotic inverts.

As they say on MR "this thread is useless without pictures" LOL Wareen and i are awaiting our clams and will post pics next week :)

Damn I have been out of the hobby a while.. when the tear drop maximas first came in I remember them being a lot more than that.

mike,
as you know collectors never stay in the same area for long. they only collect from certain areas and then move to another spot to not exhaust the animals in that area. i mean i haven't seen snake skin squamossa clams in over three years in the hobby. those are the whole reason i got into the reef hobby.

Do clams eat gobies?

I see you got one of the orange clams. Good move. When did you get a fire goby? I feel like I don't even know you anymore.

"down to 11 fish now in the forty...lol. all doing well."

You would have more if you stopped dropping them off at my house when I'm at work. I think I'm benefiting the most from your girlfriends impulse buys for your tank in the long run.
