new VHO bulbs?

I have a 150g, with a dsb and about 150lb of live rock. It is time to change my bulbs. I currently run 4/75watt super acintic, 4/75 watt white acintic, 2/95watt super acintic and 2/95 watt white acintic, for a total of 980 watts. I would like to add some soft coals, mushrooms, polyps etc.. Is this lighting acceptable? I am thinking about changing the combination to include the URI Aqasun bulb, is this a good idea?

With the actinic white and super actinic there is no need for a Aqasun bulb they are a lower quality bulb as far as kelvin rating. I would stick with the types you have I run the same kind of bulbs on one of my tanks and have very good luck. As for keeping soft coals, mushrooms, polyps etc.. you are good to go as far as lighting they should do great.

The new T5 UVI bulbs will be out soon and come in the same 3 flavors. I've seen the pink lighting on some VHO tanks and dont want that look. From what I read, even the 12Ks are a bit on the pink side. I like a crisp white look a bit on the blue side. Assuming the T5s have the same color characteristics as the VHO T12, what combo of 6 bulbs would give me that look? I was thinking of (2) Actinic and (4) 12K or a 50/50 mix.

Do you have any pics?
