New VorTech Pumps On Their Way In A Few Weeks

Glad you asked because I was going to post about that. I have read bad things about the Red Sea wavetimer but don't see a lot of other options out there. I will get the controller when they become available for these but would like to put them on a timer when I get them.

Any experience/suggestions?

Who's going to have experience? I know they claim to soft start and work fine on a normal wavetimer. If I get some I'd like to put them on a wavetimer, but don't want to be the first.

I say ask if they will replace it if it goes bad.

Just wait. If they turn out to be worth $350 then you'll gladly pay the pricetag to get some and will have taken no risk. If they aren't worth $350 then the price will come down. Either way you win. I'm thinking about getting a couple to replace my seio's, but want to be sure they run on a wavetimer without issues.
