New Wavebox For Smaller Tanks?

Hey guys, I was just on the Tunze website and saw the newest wavebox rated down to about 50 gallons! How would this work on my 31x18x21.5 reef tank? Man, if I can set that puppy up on my tank that would be SWEEEEET!
Anyone useing one yet? Any suggestions? Who is carrying them?
Thank you

Their is only one wavebox, 32" is the bare minimum for a wavebox to work and even then it will barely work 48" is the minimum I recommend.

Roger,
Thank you! Could I replicate this motion with two tunze sreams and a controller to kick on just at night for a few hours?
My tank is 31x18x21.5 Just curious if that would be a feasable alternative.
My tank is LPS corals, so my daytime current is minimal to allow full extension of my frogspawns, brains etc.
I would like a swifter night time current to suspend debris and let m y skimmer do its job.
Thank you

You can come pretty close IMO using Interval 1 @ the quickest setting which I think is 1 second. the only downside is that you would have to manually turn them down during the day or put them on a timer.

Mike,
Het, THanks dude! Now to find the cheapest place to get them! What size do you recommend Mike for my 50 gallon?

Thank you

I wouldn't do it that is a huge amount of flow and from my expereince completely unsuitable for Euphyllia type corals. When you get a bigger tank go wavebox, otherwise I don't have a solution.

Roger, he can hide the Euphyllia in a low flow spot. I've seen it on Weatherman's tank. He runs 3 6100's on a 48x24x24. It's about halfway down on page 6 of this thread. I know you know way better then I do, but isn't there a chance it's possible?

Yes, if you want to, you can make it work but having been flamed before when it doesn't work, I am a bit gun shy and unless I am sure I "just say no."

Roger I completely understand your being cautious. I have a lot of respect for you and Doug over at Deltec. You're always as honest as you can be about your equipment and never recommend anything you feel is "too much". Plus customer service is second to none which is why I chose to use your products.

Roger,
I appreciate your honesty and understand you being "cautious" as to what you recommend for a customer!
Here is a question I feel will really help make my decision:
What is the lowest flow setting on these pumps? Can they flow as low as 150-200 GPH in my tank? If so, I really feel I can make this work!
Thank you Mike and Roger!

Aqua the lowest flow out of a 6000 is 660g/hr. A mj1200 is 295g/hr. The thing is that a stream puts out a very wide and dispersed flow, very different then a regular powerhead. Is there a local reefer that has a stream you could see?
