New Yellow Tang

I got a new yellow tang 10 days ago and he looks healty but wont eat the Nori on the lettuce clip I put in the tank hasnt shown any interest in the Nori or any of the other food I have been feeding the damsils.I have 150 lbs of live rock and it does have some growth on it but I never see him picking at it either

Any ideas to get this guy eating ?

give some mysis a try. Mine went nuts over them.

mine wouldn't touch my nori for the first week also. I thought something was wrong with the nori. Give it some time and continue to put the nori in the tank, once the fish get used to the surrounding it will start to go after the nori. If you have other type of algae on your rocks right now, it could be getting full off of that.

Try putting the nori on a rock. Mine ate it this way and then off a clip. Rubberband the nori to the rock and place down in the tank.

I had to do the same thing with my Purple Tang - rubberband around rock on the bottom of tank, then on the clip on the bottom of tank, now clip is on the side of the tank.
