I picked these up awhile ago and held off posting a pic till I could get the camera to capture the true colors and to see if they would morph. They didn't just got brighter........I call these Happy Samhain in honor of Halloween. I picked these up right before Halloween.

A good buddy sent these to me as a gift in a trade....They are called Vikings paly/zoas......I really like them the are the colors and name of my favorite football team....:)

Here is a picture of an old colony of Dragon Eyes, I have that 4 polyps are morphing into something....I have no idea why they are doing this after a year or so. Only 4 polyps are doing this in the whole colony.....

Those are very nice. Are they red or orange? The viking paly is sweet also nice to have friends like that.

They are Orange, the most intense orange I have seen yet....Thanks for the compliments, I was lucky enough to be at the LFS at the right time. They had a large rock full of these things which I wanted but didn't have $50 for the rock plus half the rock looked sick or was getting sick. I got this frag for $5 or $10....The rock they had eventually melted away which is sad but this place isn't into zoanthids and didn't seem to care to much that the rock looked stressed out.....

sweet zoas Azurel.. :)

gotta love it when you find some awesome zoas at LFS and $5-$10, you can't beat that...

awesome job man..

Thanks guys

I was at the LFS today where I got those and was checking stuff out, noticed most of their zoas were closed or not looking good. Well I found a bunch of nudis on almost all of them....They didn't even know they were there. I told the guy that sold me the frag of Samhains and he was like "What" I said yea look at them right there.....Sure enough there must have been 10-20 nudis on this one small rock. We looked over some of the other and they are filled with them......That's why I don't buy zoanthids from them at all.....

I won't be fragging these thing for awhile as the frag is only about the size of a quater.....Thats quite a few polyps for a quater size frag....When I say they are tiny I mean they are tiny polyps.....

I sent them yesterday RJ, I sent about 3-4 new ones like the one I posted on here....I sent them back through the submit a zoa e-mail.....

I'll have to go on and check.
I don't submit zoas at work, I never have the time to. It takes too long to add a zoa to the site and I'd probably have to leave in mid editing.

I saw that RJ thanks for your time.......Hopefully I can get these things to prosper and start getting them out there to people.....
