new zoos

just got some new zoos dipped them and put in the tank..now 2 frags look like they got a white covering over them ..is this normal?

yeah i dont know why people are dipping in Ro water.. i dip my zoas in tropic marin pro coral cure and get good results. It may be stress. give the zoas some time and moderate flow and they should open up again.

RO water dip is used to get rid of zoo eating nudis. I think it was in one of the sticky called "Zoo dip."

Sprite, what's the "white covering" like? Is it a film? I think it might be slim that come from the zoo because of the stress from RO water dip. Put some flow through them to blow the covering off.

corals and RO water are not a good combo IMO

yeah its kinda like slime..i know it wasnt on there when i unbagged them ..or atleast i couldnt see it if it was..some started opening after bout 1 hr after i put them in the tank
