Ive been researching reefs for a while now and have finally decided to get one started. Which is better to go with the JBJ or biocube? And should I buy a RO/DI system?

bout RO/DI.......yes, a must or you can buy water at your local fish store. Tank wise, both are good. Which everyone you choose, you want be unhappy.

Okay, Im gonna with RO/DI then... going to the petstore everyweek to pickup water doesn't sound very fun lol. Im getting mixed answers on water changes though, what would be good for a 28/29 gallon tank? Ten percent a week or 25?

Well...IMO, thats up to the person. I try do a 10%, weekly but most of the time its more. I dont add supplements or liquid food. When I do a water change, its hard to just do 10%, cause I try to siphon all the debris and clean the rocks, its hard to stay with in that 10%. If Im lazy then its just 10%. I see why others needs to do a bigger percentage when having to do all those stuff.

hey look at the Nuvo30 if your wanting to stay in that size. I just got the 38 it holds 33ish gallons but by far is the best AIO I have come across in the past few years. Heres a link: http://www.marinedepot.com/Innovati...-Innovative_Marine-0I10216-FIAQNCNTHH-vi.html. Like I said I just picked up the 38 and O man do I like it. The compartments are big enough that you can add an ATO, a skimmer internal or hang on, a heater, bag of chemi, a GFO reactor, big clump of Cheto, and still have a perfect spot for probes. Try that on a BC or the JBJ. Lol. I will take some pix tonight when I get home for you. Also the rimless look is just amazing! I did Par38s over mine just because I could and I had them mounted from the ceiling for the tank it replaced any way. I also love the return pumps design on mine it draws water from the bottom so even without an ATO you could go a very long time before blowing air.

Yeah I'd appreciate it if you could. Does it come with
The lighting? I looked at the add and it didn't say
Anything about it.
