Hey, Now that I am starting to settle into my new house I am getting ready to make some major renovations to my salt system and fresh water tank and need to order several things from Foster and Smith, especially bulk heads. I just wanted to let everyone know incase anyone nearby would like to get in on it and save on shipping.

I'm sorry I had meant Foster and Smith 's dry good, not liveaquaria or etropicals. Though I would love to do an order from these as well, the money just isn't there at this point. If you would like to do the order a month from now, when my tank is in a little better shape and I have had a little time to save up some money deffintly let me know.

Anyone else thinking about ordering dry goods let me know asap. I need to send for this order very soon.

The odds of a liveaquaria, or similar, order just increased as I found something new in my tank. I have never ever had aiptasia in my tanks and have tried hard to keep it away. I have not brought anything home for two months. I was given LS and LR from a friend, but did not add it to my tank because his was covered in aiptasia, as well as hair algae and many other things I did not want.
I have been looking at Copperband Butterfly fish for a couple of months now. Perhaps soon it may be the time to get one. GARF swears by them for aiptasia removal and well the chemistry in my tank is to far off to be messing with any chemicals or other additives.

pepermint shrimp work well too on aptasia. and cost less too. or if only a couple aptasia . nuke em with an eye dropper of strong Kalk sludge. before they multiply.

I agree with ken, I have used both methods.

And on a side note, you go to udel I assume? I am gonna be a senior this year.

Chris

Ditto, well sort of super senior. I may have to do the Kalk sludge some time in the next couple of days.

This is just me being fussy, but I have never been really drawn to the peppermint shrimp, though I have heard that before. I can not put anything in my tank if I do not absolutely love it because well I do not have a lot of room to work with.

Placing Forster and Smith order this afternoon.

lol. If only things were that simple. I actually have a larger tank two feet from my current tanks which I plan on connecting with a common sump. Just don't have the time or money to do it right now. :-(

So is that the 40 breeder your talking about then?? You know it really doesn't cost much to connect them, but I guess to get all the other crap you need that would be the *****.

I would like to hook it up soon even if just with water in it, to increase my water volume. Then I can have it plumed and tested before I start to put the LS and LR in. Then I can just cut it off and run a skimmer on it while the LS settles.

The pluming parts I'm ordering the next couple of days. The LS might be a possibility in the next month if all goes well with my sump and pluming the 40. The LR and any animals are very far down the road.

I have a ton of plans I have been trying to get opinions on, but no one is responding at all. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=896609

PS anyone else having serious problems navigating the site tonight? Either I just got on a bad server or there are to many people online.

Oh yeah that plan also doesn't even have the 40gallon included with it. Trying to get opinions on one part at a time.
