Newb Torch Coral placement question

Hello I have a torch coral that is presently on a plug that is placed on my sandbed. I was wondering if it is ok to move it partially up on my rock work sticking out at a 90 degree angle. I'd like to glue the plug on my rock but not sure if sticking out at a right angel is ok.

I would love to move mine up. But I'm afraid my lights are going to fry it. Seems like if it isn't sps it's on the sand bed. I can't keep zoas, lights are to bight. Keep them in caves, but that ain't fun.

that's fine, and u can put it on the sand bed, stick it on rock, straight up or at an angle. They are fine as long as they have at least mid light and mid random flow.
