Newbie question about spreading

I've seen some pictures of zoanthids growing on small rocks a few inches long for sale at Drs. Foster and Smith.

Is there any way to physically transfer a few individual zoanthids onto my larger base rock so that they will grow and spread on it?

why not just glue the small rock on to large rock you want them to grow?

I agree with what bluemantr said. But if you really want only the zoos on the rock, then you can peel them off with a razor blade.

I have some that do better when you let them spread out over the sand/gravel, and then chop them off that way... This makes it easier to frag... Others you have to mount to larger rocks or they start to look too packed and can't spread out and grow like they should...
