I don' feed my clams anything.I have had 3 in my tank for about 2 yrs with no special feeding..I have T-crocea clams and I have them attached to a rock about half way up the tank..

Hey. It seems though you have sufficient lighting, so feeding is not required. It is often desireable to feed smaller clams (under 2 and a half inches or so). Otherwise, they should do just fine under your lighting. Feeding would only benefit, though.

It is mandatory to feed clams that are under 2 - 2.5 inches as they do not have enough mantle to utilize photosynthesis to survice.

What size clam do you have?
