Newest Critter Found on my Live Rock...

It never ceases to amaze me the things that I keep finding on my Live rock... months after adding the rock. Found this guy today. I believe it is some sort of Chiton?

That's correct, Only thing with them is they eat Corraline Algae, So if your OK with that they are harmless. I had tons of them at one time and they slowly died off for no apparent reason. White and Pink/ Male and Female But not sure which one is which but a good guess is the female is Pink Hahaha

I just found a chiton on a shell in my tank when I was gluing down my new mushroom (one I lost, Thanks to CAMAKAZY for replacement) last night to a shell. I don't mind them, they can eat all the coraline they want, I got those long spine urchins from Cheng, thinking they would eat more, but not eating enough.... Coraline is growing back as fast as they are eating it... It's spreading like wild fire.... Ever since I fixed all the broken parts in this tank, coraline went crazy.... You mainly see the chitons on the side glass going into the sandbed, that's where I normally see them....

I've been trying to identify it - but can't seem to find a many chiton databases or resources. I think its pretty and I don't mind if it eats the coraline. I've got the same problem as Michael - Coraline algae on everything (even grows on the grains of sand).

Marine Pests is what i googled i think to find those Chitons, And take my word for it there are thousands of them.
