I really like doing dramatic macros where I have to stage the background, takes some time as I have to move things around and wait and wait and wait...enjoy

Very nice--- I like the contrast your backgrounds lend. It definitely has an appealing look.

Thanks for the photos- can you expand on how you like to stage your shots? are u just scaping things to change up the lighting? or..
 
My tank is a blackback and I have little staging area thats directly under the MH's. I make sure that the background is kept clean coraline algae and doesn't have any rock outcrops. It's a very big area, maybe about 5" in diameter and has a shelf thats about 3" around where I can position the corals. I have to move a coral to the area, wait for it to open and repeat for the next coral.
 
I'm going to setup a 10g that will be connected to my DT so that I can have an actual staging tank where I can do multiple corals.
