Next COMAS meeting?

After several years alone we were thinking that they would appreciate some female companionship so we went in search and wouldn't you know we came across a breeder that had pairs of emerald greens, purples and another pair of the blues. It was one of those can't afford to pass up deals:D While we did'nt get any single females our fellas have been wooing the girls away from them with the "my tail is more impressive than yours" act ! which isn't hard for them anyway as the new males are a lot younger and don't have much of a tail in the first place:( So that you won't be caught off guard, be prepared to be announced when you get here as nothing gets by them with out a very loud warning! And speaking of warnings beware of Bandit, Phillips parrot. While he will fool you into putting your finger in his cage with his talking ability, he's really setting you up to try and take your finger off! As of guard dogs, they are the biggest and baddest on the block, or so they think so. In reality they might weigh 8 lbs between them and thats with a full belly:D

Pamela,
If I remember correctly you were in the process of setting up a large agressive fish tank when we had the last meeting at your place. Did you ever get it set up? If so what are you keeping in it?

Thanks!

Kevin

Hi Kevin, well the plan changed a little. We are taking the 220 down and moving everything into our new 540 out in the garden room. The 220 was getting overrun with the rosies as theres 10 in there at last count. We then plan on using the 220 for the big and bad tank. We are in the process right now and are trying to get it ready for the meeting. I had a little in and out surgery on my knee last week that has slowed me down some but we'll get there.

Thanks for hosting, Pamela. The meeting last year at your place was my first COMAS meeting... :)

Myself and wife and kids are all coming this year.

Your welcome Paul, but it's really Phillip and I that should thank ya'll for coming. We look forward to this all year and as a bonus it serves to really get us moving on starting and FINISHING projects;)

I almost forgot to tell ya'll about Phillips episode with his Fu Man Chu. He now knows up close and personal what it feels like to get stung! He was so sure his hand was going to fall off that I got him some hot water to soak it in, however he decided that the sting wasn't as painful as the water treatment. He finally called Paul to see if he would ever recover and Paul reassured him that if he received around the clock TLC he would survive, he did;)

That is a GREAT story. Thanks for sharing! I am glad that his reaction was not worse... :)
