And for those actually casting votes for the uncontested positions, it is not necessary.
And, OH207, who has asked people to "be sure to vote" for him.
The usual procedure as per Robert's Rules of Order is for the Secretary to cast one vote for the uncontested candidates.
Also... I have no idea who OH207 is. He never signs his name to his posts. I learned from the ballot that his name is Onkar Harry. Would it be too much to ask Mr. Harry to please tell us a little about himself and his qualifications for the post he is about to fill?

We'll for people who don't know me. My name is James Silva. I have been a member since 2009. I'm a 38 year old retired iron worker. I retired this year from a back injury. For those of you that don't know me I am the guy at the meetings with the cane always making jokes. I have been a reef keeper since 2006 and have as strong of a passion for this hobby till this day. Since I'm retired I have as much time as needed to make our club the best it could be. I am well known around the shops on LI as I visit as many as I can. I am looking forward to if I am voted in as public relations officer to work with old and hopefully new sponsors. I will spend as much time as I can communicating with other reef clubs. Reefing is a major part of my life and so is our club. I have helped many members of our club with advise, drilling tanks,giving away corals to our members and the club and just stopping by their houses to talk Reefing. I have a huge personality and this position of public relations officer needs someone who has a big personality. If elected i will use my big personality to make as many new friends as possible for LIRA and keep our club going for years to come. Thank you
