I talked to Rich tonight. He talked to the CMAS brass and they said that those interested in forming a CMAS chapter in NWI should come to the frag swap on the 15th to discuss it. That being said, patboone7 and seaoflife are starting thier club regardless of what goes on here, or with CMAS. They are not going to charge any dues at this point, and just hope people come out and that hopefully things will get rolling. Thier next meeting is March 11th at 7 pm at Exotic Aquatics in Highland. If people are not interested thats fine, dont bother to attend or reply here that you are not interested. If you are then showup next tuesday.

I have been in direct communication with Boyd about Chapter formation, and I can tell you that you are dead wrong on that. He asked me to have everyone who's interested in an NWI Chapter to meet with him *BEFORE* the CMAS Frag Swap on 3/15.

Insofar as the CMAS chapter was Rich's idea, I have been holding off on making the announcement about the actual meeting time because I have been waiting for Rich to make an announcement that never came. Since the cat is now out of the bag: Anyone interested in chapter formation should start posting in the "who is going to the frag swap" thread. Updates will be posted there.
