next NARC meeting

I agree. We need to give some thoughts on the future meetings.
John Newby will not be able to host us for the next three months because of Alabama games. I need to ask for volunteers again for the next three months (September through November.) Last year we combined November and December due to busy holiday season. We can do that again if no one object or we can have an early November meeting. Nashville Frag Swap will be on January 19th. (I understand that they got Dr. Ron Shimek coming to give a presentation.) We go to the frag swap in lieu of January meeting.
So I need a few volunteers to host us.
Any shop you want to visit? A couple of shops in Birmingham (Sarris underwater creation and Aquarium Designs) and another one in Franklin/Nashville area (Emerald Bay) offered to host us. We can take up on their offers if enough of us are willing to go. Please let me know your preference so we can schedule our meetings a few weeks in advance.

I dont mind going to the sticks to visit Nicole lol...just kiddin its WAAAAAAAAY better than decatur and as far as september I wouldnt mind going to b-ham myself but I am game for the group descision. I would have it here but my apartment is not uuummmm big enough for everyone I dont think and I dont know near enough to give a lecture on anything. lol....

Either Nashville or Birmingham works for me. Why don't we do Nashville this month, ask CARC to join us and do B'ham in October?
Then as far as November/December, I say do meetings early in the month both months to avoid some of the holiday madness, and if you want me to host I can do one of those months.

I just sent a message to the president of CARC about a joint meeting. I hope we can get a joint meeting together soon, like in October or even September if they are up for it.
So if we were to visit Nashville in September, which shop do you want to visit? Who else will come besides Nicole, Bryan, Joe and me?

Philip, the president of CARC, emailed me that they may be interested in holding a joint meeting in late September. If we meet with CARC in Birmingham in September, we can visit Nashville in October or November. What do you think?
