mike and jeff,
You guys should host the next meeting and do a MJ mod demo! I'll e-mail chad. Tom I know you will be intrested.
By the way I'm going to post some pics of my low tech soft coral tank on my blog It should be up tommorrow. At www.coralfarmer.blogspot.com. Check it out (mike this link will work I promise.)

Keep on reefin'

Jeff and I are down for the mods at Dec. Meeting. We have built five from scratch. all five mods cost $15 together. We are mow trying to perfect the little bit of shaft noise. Also working on a few mounting options. I don't trust suction cups.

Sulcata, the noise will subside after it runs for a little while. As for the suction cup. Go to HSC electronics and by some neodium magnets, cover half of them in plumber goop since they are going to be inside the tank. and then use goop to glue one of the magnet to the center section of the suction cup assembly, and then when you mount it, put a magnet outside of the tank on the other side of the glass to hold the pump in place and you are done. If you are not sure what I mean, you can drop by my house and take a look at what I have done

I wanted to stop by and see your setup again. Did you build your mods from scratch? I will call you on Thursday maybe.

I build mine from a kit, yeah I'll be here tonite so please call me. You might want to check out the new rowasphos reactor that I just built. btw the little tort that you gave me last time .... got knockted off by the fish and now I can't find it .... maybe when yours grow out we can trade for a different one ? I got couple of new supper bright millipora colonies over the weekend, when those grow out I can cut you some frags

At the next reef meeting are you going to be selling the kits for th MJ mods that would be great I'll take two, maybe three. Matbe a Group order whould be great what you guys think?
