Nice frags from MACNA!

Very nice frags. All of those were going for great prices on Sunday near the end of the show. One thing I noticed with my polyps is that they are much slower to open. Polyps I get from other hobbyists almost always open right up. Every time I get polyps from shows like this they are slow going. Never understood why.
 
I have that with the utter chaos and pink zipper. The sunny D's opened up very well... I mean, they opened, just not as large as before... Hopefully they still do well... I think it's the adjustment to flow change, maybe Alk...

Well show frags might be going through more stress than shipped frags, since they spend a few days rather than just overnight in an non-ideal environment. But that's an interesting observation hadn't thought of it until u said it out loud.
 
Well, I will observe this... even though the are fresh frags from MACNA, and have been through alot... whether its wet water or ZEO additives I use, two of the 3 frags have 2 babies already, just noticed tonight when I turned my kitchen light on and saw them closed up to see underneath the skirts...

Exciting!

I can say this, sunny D's grow like weeds for me. Two buds already would not surprise me.

nice, theyre quite stunning under royals... cant wait to see a colony of utter chaos to be quite honest, any both will grow next to the gods of war.... should be interesting.
 
What a great experience, was my first time. Shame you couldn't make it. Was a blast... some amazing corals were on display!
 
I have magicians. I'll show you some zoas I got. I'll put in a thread tonight after I get decent pics. I try to stay away from a ton of green. My LFS got me some chuckies bride that are wild. Pink skirt and yellow mouth.
