I will vouch that Atlantis has nice Ricordia as well.

Relative to what? My god when I see them online they are astronomical ie. $30 -$50 /polyp for oranges.
I was in Alantis Aquarium a few month ago and asked about several corals, including Ricordia. I then visited a number of other LFS and was left with the impression that prices at Atlantis were a bit inflated in comparison to other stores.
The linked listed above for liverockandmore appears to have some nice WYSIWYG ricordia...nowhere near $30-50 polyp; so I am sure you must be refering to some very unusal color morph.
I have also seen some nice and reasonably priced ricordia on ebay. Here are couple of nice colonies currently listed:

I also should add, since a couple of prior posts seem a bit defensive, that prior to the vist to Atlantis I mentioned above I purchased over $800 in live sand and live rock from Atlantis. I was willing to pay the higher price on some live rock because I really liked the rock. I shop at several LFS in the area and I am not bashing any one store, just sharing my experiences which I assume is what this board is for.

Yeah thats alot of purchase price for LR and LS. I dont think many people come in and drop that kind of change of those two type of items that often...I bet John appreciates that though

Purchased enough rock and live sand, and other items for a 120 gallon. Sorry you don't remember. I am very happy with the rock by the way, it looks great in tank.
Again, was not trying to step on anyone's toes I just assumed this board was for hobbyists to share their experience; like this "store has great rock", or "this store is running a special on frags", "you can get these on line real cheap".
I have opinions about other LFS, for instance I think bio-reef has the best selection and price for fish in I
JAX - however, their tank and hardware prices are high. Rob's Reef gave me a great deal on a tank & equipement, but selection of livestock is just ok, but they are always friendly and helpful....on and on.
If these comments are taboo on this board, I will certain keep them to myself. No hard feelings.

Oh yeah, you got the " Better than sex rock", the Vanuatu Rock. It was a little on the pricey side even for me. But it is some pretty sick stuff. Your comments aren't taboo on this board nor is your opinion. Everyone has an opinion, even me. (lol) I just disagree with you on some things that I as a LFS owner can't discuss in a public forum. But feel free to PM or call me & we can "chew the fat" & there are no hard feelings.
