Is the 1260 pushing enough water out of those returns?Whats kinda flow do you have through your sump?

Sweet tank btw.

for my purpose, yes. The 1260 gives me enough flow so that I would have a slow stream of water going down my recirculating skimmer. I have the Drain directly feeding it.

unbelievable photos. You are a prime example of why i am hooked on this and will be starting a 90gal reef tank of my own soon.

Just picked up a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens. Still getting used to it.

Looks like you are not planning on putting any water return/pumps on the far side of the tank (opposite side of the overflow). Is that area getting enough flow?

Achilles and Sohal, the two tangs I want to keep. Are you finding the 5' length of the tank to be enough for the Achilles? I've been told they need a minmum of a 6' long tank. I'm about to order a 60" x 30" x 24" tank myself.

I just like to say u have got a awsome tank and love the fish and the corals. nice selection on both, good pic taken as well. i love that sohal tang i am going to have to get one of those when i get my 180 up and going.

Nick,
Looks awesome! Any chance you want to post a lot more pics of the stand and sump/equipment.

Also have you ever considered dosing a carbon source such as vodka. I notice i have much much more polyp extension especially in my acros during the day.
