niger trigger eye parasite

My niger trigger has one partially cloudy eye and I got a good look at it today and it appears to be a tiny white leach looking parasite moving around under the cornea of his eye facing out b/c i can see the round sucker on it. Does anyone know what I should do to get rid of it or what it is?

+1 on that. Without a picture, but based on your description, it sounds like the tank may be infected with the fluke, Neobenedenia sp. This is an egg-laying species, so dips (formalin or freshwater) will not control it if the fish is then returned to the infected tank afterwards (since the tank still has the eggs in it). Praziquantel is the best treatment, but probably shouldn't be used in reef tanks - only in fish-only systems. This can be a tough disease to eradicate - but it kills slowly, so it usually gives people a little time to try again if the first treatment fails....
