Night time hosting

Is it normal for a clownfish to host in a GBTA? I've had GBTA for about a month. My female false clown will host in it, but only once it's lights out. Found out by accident, but she was going to town on it. During the day she may look at it from afar, but really doesn't seem interested. Is this normal?

The thing I find not normal is that it is only at night. I suspect she will go into it during the day when nobody watches. That's what my male often does with the green star polyps.
Try watching them over a longer period of time from further away or with a camera to see what she does during the day.
I suspect after a while she will stay inside the anemone all the time.

I hope so. Right now the sun is up, but the tank lights aren't on yet. Watching from afar. She was just on opposite side of tank, but then she rushed to anemone and was nuzzling it for about 10 seconds then left. We'll see what happens if she'll go to stay with it when lights come on over time.

Still no real progress. I'm letting him do his own thing. I'll check on the tank at night, and he's happy in it. But last night it was acting strange. Went up to it a couple times then dart away. ..like it was getting stung. Maybe it's protective mucous production dropped off? Any how, still won't go near it during the day time.
