Nikon Canon DSLR Desktop Icons

Ok so I like my desktop to look a particular way. Since I keep my main photo folders on my desktop I like to have the icons for those folders to be a camera. Well since I have a canon 40D the cheesy P.O.S. P&S that the windows icons have got on my nerves. So I made a Canon 40D Icon from a photo of that camera. Now all my photo folders on my desktop have the image of the camera I use. And since i knew I was going to post it I decided to make a Nikon D40x Icon for all you Nikon users out there. Just download the file and put it where ever you want then assign it to what ever folder you want.

Here is my desktop to show you what I mean. If you would like another camera turned into an Icon just let me know, it is not too much trouble.

I should note that all of these are made for XP or older. I don't know how they will look in Vista.

I will make a Rebel XT one today or tomorrow. I'll make that one in a vista friendly format. I didn't even think about that until this last one. I use XP and will only switch when I have to.

As you wish. This one also includes a hirez 256x256 vista icon but I got no clue how it actually looks in vista. I picked the silver version if you have the other version let me know and I will make another one. Enjoy

Also this need not be limited to DSLR's or Canon and Nikon for that matter. If you have any camera that you would like turned into an Icon just let me know. I may not get to it immediately but I will get to it in a few days.

I'm glad you did. Gave me something to do after work while I had a few beers.:beer:
Could you point me to some reef tank shots that were taken with this camera. I am a big Canon fan mostly because of the user interface which I think is better then Nikons. But if I were to go to the dark side it would be for this camera.

I guess I should add that the program I am using to do this has an evaluation period and I only have 20 days left, so if anybody else would like something made hit me up soon.

FWIW, I've heard some recent Canon converts actually claim that they like the UI much more than they thought they would. :-D

The biggest adjustment has been going to full frame from the 1.4 crop factor, but I'm getting used to it!
