Hi,

My wife allowed me getting this combo for Chrismas. These pictures are hand taken with the 18-200mm. I am pretty impressed with the qual of this len. Enjoy!

I will take some more pictures when my wife let me open the Micro 105mm VR.

Thanks for looking.

Nice shots, the first pic is really sharp! I plan on getting a D300 next month, or getting a D2x since they're really cheap. If I do get a D300 I was originally thinking of getting the 18-200 VR as well, but will be spending a bit more and getting a 17-55. Cant wait :)

I have the same lens on my D50. I want the D300, but being a freshman in HS makes it a little tricky......

Now to get to taking pictures like those............AWESOME by the way...

I'm longing for that D300! Enjoy your new toy!

I've heard it takes better photos than dthe D2X though so I'd get a D300 before I'd get a D2X at this stage of the game. (and ohhhh to be willing to pay for the D3!)

The 17-55 is an excellent lens. Definitely one of my favorite lenses.

I've played around with my bro's 17-55, and it feels so nice. The D300 does have a lot better AF system and ISO performance...but with some D2x's selling for a good amount lower than a D300, I might just get a D2x first and buy a D300, and use the D2x as a second body later on ;).
