Nikon D5200 Camera which lens to use

Hello RC, I have seen other hobbyists taking pictures of their live stocks and corals, I was trying to take pictures with stock lens that comes with camera and it was not good at all, Please if anyone can help to let me know what type of lens I should buy to take pictures and what should be the settings..

Additionally to the macro, I would suggest investing on an off camera flash. You can get a really cheap one with a cheap trigger system if you do not want to rely on the onboard IR
