Alright I am sure some of you remember, i just got my Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm lens not to long ago. I would say about 3 months. Anyways, my Auto Focus just done not work anymore. I put the 18-55m on A for Auto Focus but it will not work. Has anyone heard of this or am I really doing something wrong? It was working fine a week ago.

It's set on A not M jsut to clarify.

Do you have another lens you could try? Chances are good it's the lens. I had that happen with the 55-200. You can put the switch on manual and focus manually. It's one of the drawbacks of the cheeper lenses.

It works fine on Manual just wont Autofocus anymore. I got the kit at Bestbuy and have a warranty. SHould I bring the lens back? No I don't have another lens.

If it's under warranty, yes take it back. They will probably send it to Nikon to repair and leave you without a lens for a period of time.

Did you check the switch on the body for A/M as well? I know the 18-55 has one on the lens, but the body has one as well.

Well I never sent the lens to Nikon. A friend came over with more lenses and his body, Conclusion It's my Body that is bad not the lens. Took it to BestBuy today and it getting sent out to get fixed :(
