The "5 games" aren't sample games.... it is one game called "wii sports" that has 5 games included. It comes bundled with the wii for free, and is actually really really fun. Just be aware that you arent getting a "bonus"... those 5 games are included with every wii for free. Also, here are some of my fav wii games so far:

*wii sports and wii play
*METROID PRIME 3.... (so so good....)
*Pirates of the Caribbean
*Transformers

There are alot of new games coming out for the wii in Nov too... like agatha christies "and then there were none" (kinda a nerd title, but im interested), and there is a new boxing game that looks pretty sweet..... GL.

The Wii's graphics arent on the same level as PS3 or Xbox 360, but for me the fun value is way higher with the Wii. I had my Xbox 360 for months and hardly played it. Now when people come over everyone wants to play Wii. I had my parents playing video games for the first time in their lives! It is really a lot of fun.
 
Okay I got it last night

And my son played for about an hour (After football practice)
it looked really fun. he really enjoyed it.

Once he went to sleep I played for like an hour it was cool.
I think I am more of a PS3 ,xbox 360 guy.

Although I do see some drunken nights on wii in my near future. :p :D

No actually you said to call you last night ......which I DID.
Remember I was even willing to drive to LA to get it.

But you left me your work number (why I dont know).

I called there like twice some doctors office of some sort.
So I figured you flaked on me....... You never called me back.

But either way sorry for the mix up... But if you still have it for sale I think I know some one looking to get it.......after seeing my sons my neighbor wants one I believe.

Does / Has any one used the online features????

I have my Xbox360 hard wired. But the Wii is wireless??? Can I hard wire it??

so I need a Wireless Router Now huh?
 
You can hard wire it but you need to get the USB adapter. I use the wireless and it works well. I downloaded the internet browser and it is cool. Its weird being able to go from watching tv to looking up somthing on the internet on my big screen tv with the click of a button. Pretty cool.

You can also download the old nintendo games to your wii and play them whenever you want. Just pay for them right there through the wii24 channel. I downloaded Mario Kart 64 the other night.

AHHHH USB adapter .....That makes sense!

I'll have to look into that.....A cheap wireless router is what 40 bucks?? Might be easier to do that don't you think?

So the wii gives you full internet access??????????

360 goes online but ONLY thru XBOX severs.....
That does sound pretty cool.
 
The wii uses an Opera browser. It's decent (handles java decently) but on occasion, it'll mess something up. Not too much of a problem, though. The recent updates allow you to hook up a USB keyboard to save you from the softkeys.

The USB lan adapter is like $30. so see if a wireless router is better for you. Theres also the USB Wi-Fi adapter for also $30. Works with the DS also.

I hear Rayman is awesome.

I looked for the web browser download but had no luck finding it...

You must be a lot smarter than I am. I hear they'll be charging to download it now...
