nipping at xenias?

i couple of my xenias seemed to be nipped at and im wondering who could be....emerald crab or blue jaw trigger?

$$ on crab. Just had a hermit that was running through a part of my 'colony' lol, cuased it shrink up. Are you sure it's really nipped up and not just retracted a bit?

yes jay24k is right if you found something that eats it you would be a popular man. A blue jaw would not eat xenia.

It's not that trigger Mike. Grab the emerald out of there and the xenia should be fine

yeah i guess it could be the emerald.he's kind of huge also he looks almost like a king crab..lol. at least i feel better about the blue jaw.it seems that every fish my wife picks out there's an issue with it.

decorator crabs also pick. my first tank i always wondered why i could not keep the weed and found that the crab was cutting them off and trying to stick them on his back and then they would float away and under a rock and die. i think crabs have to much energy. they need to be on riddlin. and post some pics because xenia can look burnt or chewed when not doing well.

I heard that males are usually more prone to nipping, and the one of mine that was a nipper got traded in. The one I have left hasnt touched a single coral.
