Hi everyone hope you all had a cracking Xmas? šŸ„³

Just dropping in on anyone that can help now. I have done salt water tank many years ago but forgot a fair bit now. I started a 94ltr kent marine tank up about 3>4weeks ago now I have live sand and mature live rock from another tank.

I tested water this evening and ammonia is 0 also nitrite 0 does this seem right as only been running for short time. I have added pic of the test to see what you think. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd go ahead and stick in a cheap hardy fish like a clown and start feeding lightly....you have live sand and mature rock so you should be good to go slowly....

Excellent thanks for the advice....I only have live rock and some filter wool in rear chambers along with 1000lph and 600lph return pumps should I really be putting anything else in there ie bio balls i hear these can be bad. I belive Live rock works well for bio system and filteration.

Ok so had clown fish in tank 6 days now I dont expect to see a big change i have done water change since then ant nitrates look lower to me, ammonia and nitrite are good [emoji106] so all looking good only been running since 4th December so relatively quick cycle.
