Nitrate for shrimp

The nitrate in my tank usually hovers around 10ppm , ive been told that for a fowlr tank this is no cause for concern but how about for cleaner shrimp? What is the max they can tolorate?

I'm not sure there's a scientifically proven max that they can tolerate per se. I always had somewhat traceable nitrates in my system before my shrimp bit the big one. He was doing fine up until then.

I think you'd be fine, but you might want to check with other more experienced reefers in the meantime.

There's no evidence that nitrate in that range is toxic to shrimp, and I've kept skunk cleaners and fire shrimp that lasted for years at higher levels.
