Have a problem natrate feed every two/ three days 200 gallon
tank inc sump. nitrate has gone through the roof

need help?
I'd add as large a lighted refugium as you possibly can and start growing some macros to consume the nitrates--
Water changes will reduce them but with larger water volumes you get to the point of diminishing returns-- unless you can do larger fractional changes you will at most reduce your nitrates 15% or so per water change-- each water change will remove less and less so its not very effective to eliminate nitrates completely.
Most of us utilize a lighted refugium and/or a deep sand bed to reduce nitrates--
