nitrates little high

I have a bio cube 29 which holds about 22 gallons of water, i added my first two fish a week ago and have a few corals, but the nitrates went from almost 0 to 80 and now are at 40 I've done 4 water changes of 4 gal each but the nitrate levels don't change much should I keep doing the water changes or not worry so much?

Has anything gone missing lately? Snails, crabs, maybe a fish etc? Before you do any more water changes you might want to get a second opinion. Have your LFS or a fellow hobbyists test your Nitrates just to verify.

Change 50% of water will help. Do you have RODI? What is your skimmer? How many times do you feed your fishes a day?

I would feed once every other day, do 50% of water change once a week. Running refugium or biopellet or dosing NO3O4-X
