5th ANNUAL NJRC FRAG SWAP & CONFERENCE

Greetings fellow Reefers!! We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting our 5th annual frag swap. We have a new location, new speakers and other new surprises we will be announcing as the swap gets closer.
The event is going to take place on November 3rd from 9 am to 5 pm at the NJ Expo Center Edison NJ http://www.njexpocenter.com
We are excited to bring you three speakers that we have never had before this year, John Warner, Justin Credabel, and Todd Gardner. There will of course be incredible raffles that we will be keeping you updated on. We already have your favorite vendors signed up for the event and some new faces as well. We hope you are going to join us because we are really excited for this years event.

As always we are offering a discounted rate for the early bird shoppers. From now until October 3rd tickets will be $15 per person or $20 for a family. After October 3 prices will go up to 20.00 for single and $25.00 per family so sign up early and save. Greetings from New Jersey! We would like to invite you all to our Annual Frag Swap and Conference. We have a lot of new things to announce, but don't worry we are not losing any of our classic moments. So let's get down to the details:

When: Saturday November 3rd
Where: The New Jersey Expo Center 97 Sunfield Ave, Edison NJ 08837 or check it out at www.njexpocenter.com
How much: $15 for individuals $20 for families now until October 21 then the price goes up to $20 for individuals and $25 for families
Food will be served but is not included in the ticket price.

Let's cover the classic Swap conference fun first. We have three wonderful speakers coming down to speak at our event:

John Warner from Warner Marine is joining us from California to do a presentation on EcoBak Pellets and how to properly set them up in a reactor and run them.
We are also excited to have Justin Credabel and Todd Gardner join us form LIRA and will be talking about their amazing new endeavors out there

Vendors: We have already sold out the event for vendors, we have some of our classics but we also have a bunch of people coming in who we have never had the pleasure of doing business with before. Some vendors are flying out from Colorado and Utah and traveling from up and down the Eastern sea board to be apart of this event. Here is our list right now:

Did you get your ticket yet? If you get it in advance. You just give your name get your badge and go in right away. If you pay at the door you have to fill a form out and then have to wait in line to get your badge made up.

*** 2012 Frag swap Update ***



As you all know and are probably sick of hearing about, “Superstorm Sandy” has hit the tri-state area and has had some devastating effects on the communities in and around the area. First we would like to say that we at NJRC hope that you, your family, and friends are OK and we wish you a safe and speedy recovery from any losses you may have experienced due to this horrendous storm.

Prior to the appearance of the “Frankenstorm”, the 2012 NJRC Frag Swap was coming together nicely and the NJRC was getting ready for the best year ever, with a sold out vendor floor and an all time high for pre-registered attendees.

We know that some of our vendors have experienced power outages and damage and we have not yet been apprised to the amount of damage sustained to the Expo Hall after numerous attempts to contact them via phone and email have failed. Unfortunately, now that we are in the wake of Sandy’s wrath, we have decided that it is in the best interest of both the vendors and the attendees to CANCEL the NJRC 2012 Frag Swap that was scheduled for this weekend in Raritan Center, Edison at this time.

While we are highly disappointed to have been forced to make this decision,but we are confident it is in everyone’s best interest while travel is still very difficult and dangerous. As soon as we are able to contact the expo center, we will try to get a date that we can hopefully reschedule the event. If we are unable to do so in a timely manner we will be refunding pre-paid registrations. We appreciate you being patient with us as we work through this unfortunate situation.
