NJRC Frag Swap & Symposium

New Jersey Reefers Club is preparing for our second annual Frag Swap & Symposium. For those of you who were there last year it will be more than twice the size! We've got a great speaker lineup from around the country and we're recruiting local stores, On-line retailers, and local area Fraggers as vendors for the swap. We expect to have more than 30 vendors, and are well on our way. We've gotten some excellent donations thus far with far more on their way. The raffles should be great.

To anyone who keeps a frag system, I suggest getting a table (or 1/2 or sharing a table with another reefer)! With a table you'll be able to setup a tank and you'll be marked on the map. Buyers will know where to find you and the cost of the booth is easily covered by the frags you'll sell.

Hope to see you all there!

10,000sqft of vendors are starting to fill in nicely:

Early bird pricing is 20$ through June first. After that the price goes to 25$. If you're planning on going you'll want to reserve your spot before the discount is done.

I'd encourage NCPARS members to go to the NJ swap as well as ours because reports from past swaps have been great. Our swap is a week later and it would be great to have some PA folks go to NJ and vice versa. Unfortunately, I'll be out of town on the 25th. :( Next year, I hope!

With 32 vendors already on the exhibit hall floor plan we're just 8 booths away from a sell-out. We're looking forward to having many great vendors from livestock to dry goods. The raffles are starting to pile in and we should have a great turnout for the event.

If you missed MACNA you won't want to miss this!

35 vendors so far with only 5.5 booths remaining.

Well, we're just about a month away from this years Frag Swap and I thought it would be nice to revive some photo's from last year's event. From the looks of things, this year is shaping up to be even BIGGER and BETTER! We have more than twice the floor space and have already doubled the number vendors. With only 4 spots left, we're definitely looking at a sell-out.

Where else could you get 3 GREAT speakers, access to more than 40 of the top livestock and dry good retailers in the industry, an awesome NY Deli Style Lunch and the possibility of winning some great raffle items?. And all that for only $25! Take a look at these pics and ask yourself "How can I possibly miss out on that!"

We’ve had a surprise addition to our event!

IceCap, Inc., our event sponsor, is presenting their guest and well known speaker Anthony Calfo who will be doing a presentation on the new and emerging possibilities for Recycling and Sustainability within the Saltwater Aquarium Hobby. We look forward to this presentation and thank IceCap for bringing Anthony out to speak to us on such an important issue.

Anthony will be doing Book and Poster signings in the IceCap booth!

IceCap, Inc. will also be doing a "Swap your Halides at the Swap" promotion. They are encouraging the recycling of your used halide bulbs by providing recycle containers and special pricing on their full line of halide bulbs. IceCap, Inc. will take care of properly disposing of the used halide bulbs.

4 great speakers, one great day. See you there!
